Architectural & Solar Carport Design

Field Survey

Based on the "strength calculation sheet" to be submitted when applying for a building permit, we check for any differences between the drawings and the site conditions.

Geological, soil and ground investigation

We conduct various tests and investigations such as "screw weight penetration test," "standard boring penetration test," "flat plate loading test," "pile loading test," and "surveying survey," to understand the ground conditions and soil properties necessary for the construction of the structure.

Basic Design

Based on various laws and regulations such as the Building Standard Law and the Electric Utility Industry Law, we check "whether there are any problems with the layout of drawings" and "whether the design is appropriate and meets legal requirements," and conduct design regarding girders, foundations, ground strength, and drainage.

Structural Examination

We ascertain the manufacturer's structural design and confirm that there are no problems with the installation of solar panels and solar carports on the roofs of buildings, parking lots, and other proposed construction sites.

＜If solar panels are to be installed on the roof＞

Based on the information in the drawings, we determine whether installation is feasible and calculate the load-bearing capacity. We also check the drawings against the original construction drawings of the building to investigate whether there are any differences from the current conditions.

＜To install additional special high-voltage power receiving and transforming equipment and solar carports＞

The power conditioner is placed taking into account earthquake and wind pressure in the area where it is to be installed, and the foundation calculations for electrical equipment and devices, structural calculations for retaining walls, and drawings are prepared.

Application for building permit

Coordinating with city hall, fire department, local government, and other relevant agencies, we submit the design drawings and application documents to the chief building inspector of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism or a private designated verification inspection agency. The applicant then receives an inspection certificate issued by the inspection agency.

Design Supervision

We visit the site to confirm that the construction supervisor has correctly read and understood the drawings and is ready to move on to construction work.

Completion Inspection

Inspections are conducted as stipulated in Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Building Standard Law. We visit the site and confirm that the building has been completed according to the drawings.
